TV Shows
Nothing I watched with any consistency, to the point that I can't even say 'I wished I had caught more of--'. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.
Movies
John Carter. It was just fun. And I sort of remember reading the book when I was eight.
MCU series, especially Thor and the Avengers. For some reason, I find the fact that Thor got hit. Twice. With an SUV. The same SUV. Hilariously funny. Made the movie for me. Doesn't help that I like the looks of Chris Hemsworth as well. Pity he's both married and over a decade younger then me. Oh well. (PS: Loki is NOT a woobie needing hugs. He's either VERY skilled at manipulation (per his mythic roots), and/or he's psychotic. Neither of which is good. Neither of which can be fixed with said hug, either. Nope, sorry. If he had let the frost giants into Asgard after he found out what Odin had neglected to tell him, I'd buy it. Maybe. But not before.)
I know a lot of people didn't like it, but Snow White and the Huntsman. Maybe it was Hemsworth again. I'm good with that.
And even though it's been out for a while, I didn't catch it until this year. Both parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Beastly
Another one that got less than favorable reviews: Cowboys and Aliens. What can I say, really? For what it was, I liked it. Maybe because I wasn't expecting something too terribly deep.
Troll Hunter, which is neither new, nor American. But I like it.
Books
As with TV series, nothing, really. Which I need to fix in the coming year.
Music
Lady Antebellum
The Band Perry
Some of Gaga's newer stuff, now that she's not trying so hard to sound like Madonna (I really like 'You and I').
The more recent lineup of Nightwish
Unfortunately, other than the 'top 40' scene, I haven't been able to get into anything recent, although I've fond some older things I like, including a CD of an old album known as "Silver Ships' by Synchestra. Clue may remember that one.
Games
RIFT
...and that's about it.
