Welp, it's 4.5 hours each way, straight north, to an absinth-wormwood herbicide trial I need to put out on Monday (all that stands in my way is a 40% chance of rain... PLEASE DON'T RAIN!).  I'm driving up tomorrow and staying overnight so I can be up at 6am to put out plots, install a barbed-wire fence, and spray my plots.  Luckily, the county ( Read more... )

It was a very good year at the Emmy awards.  Jim Parsons got his Best Actor in a Comedy, Julia Louis Dreyfus and Tony Hale got awards for acting in Veep (LOVED Julia's acceptance speech), and... someone I personally know was nominated for an Emmy and omg I had no idea ( Read more... )
