Has it really been seven weeks since my last post? My goodness. I fail. And I was so determined when I got this thing that it would help regulate my posting...alas, not the case!
The beauty with Xena is that it's all very tongue-in-cheek. They must've known the whole thing is quite ridiculous, which makes it twice as good. Well, the obvious subtext doesn't hurt either. *g*
No, the obvious subtext doesn't hurt at all. And they do silly so well. So very well. By the way, that icon now owns a piece of my heart.
Also, I've finally seen all of Medical Investigation, and totally saw the Natalie/Eva moments. Though Natalie had a lot more moments with the extras/guest stars (like that business woman with paralysis, and that senator's wife who was her friend, even saw a couple with the head of the NIH), still, good show. I loved Eva in the 'Ex? As in ex-husband? As in one of those?', that was funny and adorable. Conner was such a drunk, and not in the funny way.
That scene (the one in my icon) is probably my favourite Xena/Gabrielle scene ever. There's something extremely meaningful in it. ♥
Oh, Medical Investigation. *happy sigh* They should've renewed that show, dammit. Eva/Natalie was so blatantly obvious. And Connor was a jerk. By the way, the business woman with paralysis? Always makes me giggle because she's Lola Glaudini, aka Elle in Criminal Minds. Fandom collisions!

I know! I thought of that like three seconds after I replied and then was all 'darn!' It made me think of that clip from Andy Richter Controls the Universe with Lola and Paget, "she's my maid...housekeeper? partner?...lover? no, that's not right" (hilarious). So much fandom collision! Fun times.
Gosh you just made my day. I just finished four hours of grueling labor, got called back for an interview with that law firm for tomorrow! and came in to see a giggle inspiring comment. Today is a great day!
