On a different note, I feel much more accomplished tonight than I have at any point in the past week. I read 2 chapters of the 10 I was supposed to read for class*. I drove home last night, starting around 6:30 and getting here around 9pm. Tech
I spent the majority of my time in the last week in the student theater for tech week for Footloose. This time, instead of being a board operator, I was the sound designer. Well, Middletown Public Schools are closed Monday and Tuesday, and the high school declared a shelter. No word on what Wes plans to do, but state and city officials are certainly taking Sandy seriously. My friend Madi commented today that I seem a lot happier this semester than I was last year. And I think--no, I know-- that she's right. I am happier, breakup and all. During the summer between fourth and fifth grade, I moved to North Carolina. Or maybe I should say "we." Me, my mother, and Travis.
