So as you all may know, if you type "miserable failure" into Google and click "I'm Feeling Lucky"...George Bush's biography pops up.

However, this article shows that this fact can be manipulated by only a small group of people...so that even though it is one of the most popular and widely used search engines, the first page returned doesn't ( Read more... )

The difference between Michael Moore and GWB blowdpanis December 26 2003, 20:37:58 UTC
Is that the former, while annoying, isn't an actual moron. ;)

GWB is not only incompetent in world affairs (as he has no background in such issues), he's a fundamentalist Christian. Anybody who thinks 'creationism' is a competing 'theory' with evolutionary theory should not be in charge of a bus or train, much less a country.

It really bugs me when people hate on the president. Like him as a politician or not, he is the president and deserves respect. What is up with everyone being an armchair politician these days?

no kidding. although...a lot of people do support the president, you just don't hear them bitching all the damn time ya know? watch, bush will win again in 2004. then everyone will see that just because these anti-bush people have louder voices, doesn't mean they are in the majority. then they'll come up with some crap like "well we need a recount! these chads are dimpled!" and we'll just shake our heads because in truth, they are the morons. oh well.

Actually, I rooted for GWB (and voted libertarian) in the last presidential election. Since then, observing his administration and the various choices they have made, I've come to the confident conclusion that, while not LITERALLY 'stupid' per se, GWB should not be in power, plain and simple. I would rather a leader have some degree of knowledge of world affairs, and avoid the 'us vs. them' mindset that's so very dangerous on this planet. GWB fails miserably in both departments.

While president Bush himself may not have the strongest background in international affairs, there is no denying that his adminstration has a a lot of it. I mean come on, look at his cabinet. They are, for the most part, political veterans. He may be the face plate of the administration, but it would be foolish to say he is running the show alone.

Try not to take personal offense to random things said in a livejournal. While I very much believe what I said, I don't *ACTUALLY* want to offend people here so...relax :P
