Finished "Through a Window" by Jane Goodall today. Very enjoyable book, though I liked the first one better. This one was good right up until the last chapter or so (then it turned a bit too saccharine for my tastes). It's a bit of a rough book to read while at work towards the end, when she's talking about the living conditions for lab chimps ( Read more... )

The dentist appointment went fine. I ended up taking Friday off, due to a number of factors. The teeth themselves didn't hurt too badly, but the injection site for the numbing goo hurt like hell Friday.
