*sigh* Well. I'm sittin here at the cafe watching three guys get arrested outside whilst waiting for someone to come in and give me something to do. Not that I mind nothing to do. lol, yeah, I guess most of that was geek code, so to speak. lol

DOA = Dead or Alive = playstation video game
MTAC = Middle Tennessee Anime Convention
Dirty Pair Flash = 80's anime show
Advent Children = A movie sequal to a playstation video game, odd, I know.
My Neighbor Totoro = really cute anime movie

Marisa said that you happened to witness a certain Mandalorian doing some sort of dance in the hallway. I have to ask, did I look as stupid as I felt doing that dance? Just curious.

This is Derek, Marisa's friend who was one of the Star Wars costumers at MTAC btw.

lol, no, you guys made my night. Er, once I realized that the con organizers weren't really losing it. We thought the costumes were professional, they were really awesome! And trust me, the para-para (the dance tapes they were doing) guys deserved to be made fun of!

Yep, we all made our costumes. That was my first time out in that one, and besides breaking 3 parts of it and losing a cape, I was happy with the way that it came out. How odd was it to see an alien roaming around?

It was really odd! On top of our disappointment in the con, it just seemed crazy. We thought the con organizers had hired you guys to show up. lol. We saw one of the storm troopers first and we heard him talking through a speaker like they do on the movie and were like, "there's no way that's just some kids here at the con." Then we saw the wookie and the rest of you. It was funny. I'm sorry you had "wardrobe malfunctions" though. I hope everything's ok? Those costumes were seriously amazing. Marisa said you were working on a keyblade, too. I'd love to see pics.
