Thats good. wasn't looking for sympathy. It was more of a nostalgic kind of thing.. the weirdness is.. it was nostalgic for something i have never had yet... i'm such a dork.

i'm chomping at the bit to decorate. i'd love to do it this afternoon while i have time, but tony and i decided we want to make it a tradition to do it all together.

no my next big dilemma is when to buy my tree!

I had a really wonderful Thanskgiving thank you. I hope yours was good too. We're doing our decorating on Sunday. We're going to make a big day of, get all of the stuff ready on Saturday and then go shopping and get cheese and crackers and some wine and on Sunday throw ourselves a decorating party for two. I am so excited I can;lt wait.

We don't have a lot in the way of decorations yet because this is our first year and money is really tight, but we're pretty creative. So this should be really cool.

I so want to try these herb things you made that you mentioned in your other post!

the crescents! they were fabulous. all you do is take a roll of crescents, unfold them, mix 1 brick of softened cream cheese, 1 tbs minced garlic, some chopped green onion and chives, mix it all together. spread it on the crescents and roll them up.

the recipe i had called for making them with puffed pastry sheets instead of the ready-made rolls, but i could not, for the life of me, find puffed pastry sheets anywhere!

as i was digging out my decorations, i realized we don't have much decorations. we have a lot of tree items, but nothing really for around the house. i really shouldn't buy any, but i want everything to look perfect this year. last year we couldnt even get our tree to stay up straight :)

Aww! Crooked trees have more character. LOL.

I went and bought my construction paper so I can make paper chains with Roger. I LOVE paper chains. It's my soution to overpriced garland. They are more fun too!
