Wow, so 2008 already? It's been a bit of a rollercoaster this year with one thing or another: finishing my dad's last business, buying a condo, my grandfather passing away, putting my cat to sleep, ending a relationship and starting a new job. And that was just the last few months.
Here's to a fresher start in 08! Don't do anything I wouldn't do -

My ten year old cat has just been diagnosed with skin cancer. I think we're going to end up putting him to sleep because treatment if well over 2,000 g's. I didn't feel like crying til I saw my mom petting him on the sofa earlier-- she never pets him if she can help it. Now I'm all teary eyed and nostalgic. wah. -

I didn't have any plans or a costume until yesterday and I'm feeling kinda lucky that everything's falling into place for today. YAY, CANDY!

Well, I finished at 4am on Sunday morning and I'm still trying to recoup from CRYING MY EYES OUT LIKE A LITTLE SISSY during my read of DH. What a rollercoaster.
That said, I was really really content with DH. This book could have sucked horrifically and I'm glad it didn't. Mind, it still had its moments where it lagged or a character acted rather ( Read more... )
