A Little Bit of Frustration

Like everyone else, I was a bit frustrated--okay AM a bit frustrated--with the new NS boards. I didn't care for the others much either, but only because of the searchlessness. I suppose we'll get used to the new setup but I frankly (like lots of others) don't like the different boards. A general support board WOULD be nice. I've been trying to

Hey have you guys tried Vonage or Skype? That is unlimited phone time and no long distance veen over seas. So N is German? Not in the military or anything? How did you two meet if I may ask? I lived in Berlin (West Berlin at the time) Munich and Augsburg. I just re-read your profile and realized that you are an author. DUH! No wonder you are so well written ;). I've been taking writing classes and have been toying around with writing a book. I've got to finsih school.. I want to write for a n ewspaper or magazine. Have a great night!

Yeah, we've done Skype but most of our talking takes place middle of the night for me, or while I'm at work. He is German through and through, pureblood. LOL. We met here on LJ actually!! When I was there last, only had three days in Berlin, so this time, we'll have five and lots more time. He is former GDR, had only been back once, so the experience was amazing for him also and he loves to look at things--even stand in line at the Reichstag for over an hour to get in. LOL. Next time, we are going to the zoo!!! LOL.

Oh and if he calls me it is cheap--only 50 euro or so a month. That we can handle. :) He has codes for his phone that bring the price waaayyy down. Thank goodness!

it is nuts--change your user name, go to boards, then change your username back again. Then it will work. It is crazy but it works, but then it makes your name all caps. glitchy!!!
