I think whichever you want to do most. not to sound like a cop-out, but I don't know which language you have a passion for the most. whichever you do, I think that's what you should study. :) so I dunno what to vote....to be completely honest I didn't know you've been studying french, or at least I forgot. lately I have thought of you as studying German cuz that's what you've been studying lately. :)
It's hard to say which I want to do the most though because I love both equally I think. I've been learning French since I was 10, and I honestly think it's the most beautiful language in the world. I love speaking it and I love translating it. It would just seem like there was something missing if I didn't take it.
But I love German too. It seems like I get a thrill out of it now that I don't get with French. Maybe it's because I'm still learning new things, but German's just such a freaking cool language. The sentence structure and the way words are put together to form new words, the grammar. It's all just so interesting. Fwaaaa!
ah.....hard decision!! I think jennthestrange has a good point when she says you are already an expert in French. see I just forgot/didn't know you even knew French. :-/
I voted for German, not only because that gives you freedom to choose your favored schools, but also because you're pretty much an expert in French already. And, I guess that wherever you end up going there will also be upper level, or even graduate level courses in French that could keep your fresh and on your toes.
Oh, and I got your text about Allison from Crafts Plus. I assume she didn't see you though, otherwise you wouldn't be around to post this since she'd still be talking your ear off.
Man, I just lowered my head and tried not to make eye contact when I was paying for my stuff. I don't think she recognized me because of the hair and glasses anyway. Plus she was on the phone, probably talking to her black boyfriend. Because her boyfriend is black. Did you know that her boyfriend is black?
So, so difficult. You're so amazing French that, while it could be a shame to come out without a degree in it, you don't really need to take any more courses in it. And while German is new-ish to you, you're amazing at it andyou enjoy it and daymn, it's such a cool language :)
