I guess you can say that I've been living away from home for about 6-7 years now and at no point have I felt particularly homesick. Maybe it's the lack of connection I feel towards being in Canada. Maybe I don't miss the dreadful winters with all the windchill and snow. Maybe it's because I'm losing touch with a lot of the friends that I've made

HAHA yeah it's hard to find that balance between being close to the family and retaining that freedom... especially when distance/geography plays a factor in it.
