too much love will kill you~~

The tragedy of being a neurotic artist.

When people don't like your stuff, you feel unappreciated and feel there is no point to what you do.

And when tons of people do like your stuff, and an internet fluke gives you new watches by the score, sociophobic paranoia kicks in, you go "I can never meet all these expectations!!!" and the mandatory art ( Read more... )

The irony of life is as such, yes. Don't worry about it--the stage fright will pass eventually as the news of the situation passes. Take some time off and remind yourself why you draw in the first place, yes? I like to call it my "ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod i'm not good enough I'm not good enou-- aasdfghfdsadfghj;;;; .... OH FUCK THIS SHIT BITCHES I'M NOT HERE TO PLEASE YOU OR YOU OR YOU OVER THERE--SIT DOWN AND ENJOY SHIT OR GET THE FUCK OFF MAH LAWN" time of introspection.

Have some tea, some games, and draw what you like.

You really do, dear. Because if these pictures DID get so popular, there is a VERY good reason for it. :) It's because you're good.Every piece of your artwork is amazing, and I've told you that before! So no art block. >:I Or I'll be forced to send you candy every month. And that's bad for your teeth. <3

I know the feeling of thinking too much too well >.< Poor you. Boo to your brain!

That said, you know you're good and as was it Croaky said, you "just" need to develop some "fuck you people, have some Volpe/Cesare fisting with Lucrezia and Claudia going at it in the background, cheering them on". There's also the old cliché of doing it for yourself, not for others, and the one about and so on and so forth.

Still sucks to have your brain and I hope it learns to behave real soon <3

Aw, too bad. But to each their own. We can't all go wheeeeee at the thought of running around discreetly stabbing people. XD

I know, I know, but you know how it is. I sort of tried to sneak back onto DA discreetly, and now I feel like a deer caught in headlights. XD
It'll pass, I'm sure. just need to get through this phase and get back to drawing stuff for fun. u.u

Expectations are the worst. Both others' and your own. Ever the enemy of creating stuff just for the fun of it. :(
