Did I ever mention my kitty Mela is out of danger? We had a doubt wheter it was cancer or a very bad pancreatitis, but it seems it was the latter since she reacted well to the meds. She's gotten so much better, she's asking for food again, she purrs and is active and happy. She still has to gain some weight back, but we're hoping for the best. I ( Read more... )

It's totally not a bother. Everyone needs to rant from time to time and it works so much better if there's someone there to listen... or read. One of these days I need to make it over to Italy to see you! You know, it's hard to get coffee and chat with someone when they live halfway across the world!

That's brilliant news about your cat! I'm so glad she's gotten better! :o)

On the depression front; one of the worst things you can ever think, is that you don't 'deserve' to be depressed; at the end of the day, it doesn't matter wether you 'deserve' to or not; you just feel like that. The thing is, the mood swings, apathy, and sadness are aspects of depression, and if you can find a way to be made to feel better, go for it.
It took me 6 years to go and see anyone about how low I felt, but it's all about baby steps in trying to deal with it. Also, copying Betsy, if you want to talk, feel free any time you want.
