VENICE?! YOU LUCKY THING, YOU. I am so jealous. Have fun!

Cheery, summery music... hmm... I always think that anything by The Pipettes (like Pull Shapes, I Love You) is very summery. And they remind me of vintagey things ♥. Also, my Happy Summer Playlist consists of most things 80s. :D

Good luck for results! (OH GOOD LORD I AM ACTUALLY GOING TO DIE. X__X)

The Pipettes are so summery! I'm downloading them, ta :D I'm really getting into 80s stuff! I'm in the process of working through Blonde :D

YOU TOO OH GOD. Are you going to attemp to sleep? I'm not, I don't think, I'm waiting til midnight for the clearing vacancies to come up, then I'm rereading The Secret Countess. What grades do you need? Where are you actually going, I've forgotten!

Okay, summery and cheery... Beirut is really really awesome. He does these slow but lovely folk tunes but with a real identity of their own. Songs like The Penalty are a good place to start. For something more lively, try listening to How To Explain by The Cat Empire. They're an Australian ska band and are really underrated ( ... )

Also, Venice is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been if you ignore all the tourist crap.

Oh no, I don't want you to cry! But I doubt there will be any gondoliring (?) as I've already done it before, but I'll take lots of pics of gondolas :)

Thank you so muuuch! I'm listening to this whilst up waiting for A level results, so it's a great distraction xD I ADORE the first one, it's gorgeous. I'm going to download them tomorrow morning :)
