So, finally The Secret Circle cashed their chips in and showed that they mean business...

I'm actually authentically surprised that they pulled a Vicki Donovan. (Or should I more fairly call it pulling a Doyle?)
mmmm, dark. I am pleased.
I also appreciated the screen time given back to the elder generation(s) subplot. I would like the grandmother to continue to be a competent badass. And I'd really like to see Dawn&Charles get their powers back... except that might stop their awesome destructive streak, with flameouts almost worthy of a Salvatore brother. *heart hands*
For our weekly dose of femslash, DID YOU SEE THE THING WITH MELISSA/FAYE? How demon!Melissa was totally being sultry with her, with strategic purpose, and Faye looked all tempted and then uncomfortable because Nick was there? Because THAT HAPPENED.
We also encountered the first bit of real life hetero chemistry on this show via Adam/Diana, but no worries kids, Faye will nip that in the bud. I believe in her mad baby dyke skillz.
Anyway, so long Nick! I'm sorry, but you were the weakest link.
I only regret that now it will be much more difficult to set up scenes with gratuitous Melissa nakedness. I will try to carry on.
