TVD 3.08 brief note
If Stefan ~comes back because of his feelings for Damon, if it ends up REALLY BEING ABOUT THE SIBLING BOND, then I swear that I will forgive every single incidence of bitchery about the compelled-ripper plotline.
And I have done a lot of bitching.
On the other hand... if it ends up being a tease and we really get Stefan's twu luv for Elena making him flip the switch instead ... I will be SO BITTER NOW.
I mean, I love Elena. Don't get me wrong. FAVORITE CHARACTER, duh. But I feel like the Stefan&Damon arc has earned that.
And I do think that Damon was signaling to us pretty clearly that Stefan's feigned "I don't give a fuck about you, no rly" attitude towards Damon is as forced as Damon's used to be towards him. Damon can see through Stefan's denial because he himself still tends to play that game.
