Sadly, the American adaptation is more true to the book! You make me want to see the Swedish film, that sounds much more awesome.

See, because I haven't read the book I'm probably missing the context of lots of things in both movies. But you should definitely check out the Swedish film if you enjoy the story. (All 3 movies are up on Netflix, if you have that.) It's naturally very similar but I still think viewing them both is really interesting.

What I haven't watched is the 2010 mini-series Millennium (Swedish). There are probably no English subtitles. I don't know anyone who's seen it...
