Justin and I found a house that we really like. It's been forclosed and is being sold by HUD, and the house is in an area where homes normally go for $150k, but they're asking 96,800. Take a look at the photos.http://s17.photobucket.
Uhm, acutally, there's next to nothing that needs repairing. The pond is covered for the winter. Almost everything in the house is new. I was only taking close-up photos of a few areas for the benefit of my dad so it's got all the grungy stuff in it, rofl.
Because I was lazy and just sent you all of them, sorry. <3 The house has been winterized, so that's why they've got the notes and crap all over.
I should give you a little more background info on the house. No one's lived in it about a year. Guy came in and rehabbed it for his kid before it got foreclosed and is now being sold by HUD. The two bathrooms are brand new, new carpeting, rooms were redone. The only really probitive things are the goofy thing with the floor in the kitchen and the small crack in the one wall. Need someone to check it for leaks, but with as thin as it is it's unlikely. Most of hte rest of the house is new. o.o
It's large and nice! Does the price include the price of the land? I mean, in my country the land often costs twice the house itself, so some people just borrow the land for a few decades and build a house on it. When the lease expires, the owner of the house either renew the lease or move out.
Yes, the price includes the house and the lot that it sits on. We're very lucky to have so much space - everyone can afford a house if they are careful. :)
