I haven't been posting much because I finally started working on my novel, which leaves me with very little free time by the time I eat dinner, spend time with the family, and play WoW. That's a pretty good word count. Congratulations.

How'd you arrive at 90k as the target?

Most crime novels run about 65-70k, while most fantasy stories run 80-120k. 90k is my target for a first draft, and it'll go up or down from there - gods only knows how much more or less I'll add from there. I know I'll be adding in a lot more description once I finish with story.
