Arson. I'm stealing this datapad.

Oh, what fun! Unlike my ever so gracious host, I'm quite happy to be on board! Definitely beats that piece of scrap planet I was stuck on! Not that... I couldn't have procured me another vessel and gotten off anytime I wanted. Heh. This is going to be great! I haven't had company in far too long. [almost ( Read more... )

You may take all the files on Miss Edwina Redding that you wish, if you do so desire, but I would think that you would be happier if you had asked for the communication frequency of the nearest Decepticon vessel instead. And fine; as a gentleman who also thinks ahead, you may have the codes to my ship's navigational systems as well ( ... )

No.

My original plan never envisioned either us, nor this pathetic little ship, fighting off a platoon of Autobots. "At you choice and leisure" was a subtle hint. Pity you didn't get it.

No, I have no intention of fighting a horde of Autobots on my own. My plan is much more simple, much more subtle, and much more smarter than that.

I would have us follow discreetly and ambush the femme while she is alone on some random pit-stop. That is how I work. A lone assassin. Not a fool-hardy lone-wolf in a downright suicidal hoedown! No matter what my heritage and name might suggest.

Now how foolish do I seem, dim-witted mech?

Call me what you wish, but good luck in following that plan. No Chief of Security has ever gone out alone, especially not the neurotic and or paranoid ones, and unfortunately for everyone, the ship itself is currently on a one-way course to...[looks down @ charts VERY closely]...according to the maps...some galaxy in a direction that is somewhere over that-a-ways [waves hand + arm in a vague direction opposite of this ship's current course], with no stops in sight along the way, if Shockwave and the location predictability program installed in the--well, you wouldn't really believe me even if you had seen where that was installed for yourself.

Anyway, that's where their ship is headed, if Shockwave and said program is anything to go on. Incidentally, that really is Shockwave's self-created--and technically patented--program; every spy is supposed to have at least one copy hidden away in some relation to their possession. On a different note, would you like a copy?

Oh, very well. Have it your way. But everyone likes to go out alone. Trust me. Especially the paranoid ones without any friends because they tend to distrust even their own.

It's no skin off my back how we does this though. As long as I get paid in the end, ya know.

Nifty program. I suppose it's useful for people like you who don't do tracking on their own.

Speaking of Shockwave. How is the old mech?
