The Diamond Legacy 1.1
I'm back with a new legacy folks! I'm not gonna follow the Legacy rules by the book & for starters I will do my Legacy story in first person; which I haven't done so before so we'll see how it plays out. Comments of course are welcomed & enjoy!
Allow me to introduce myself .. my name is Serena Diamond. For as long as I can remember my parents instilled in me a lot about being disciplined, especially when it comes to finances. As a teenager I worked & gradually saved my earnings & of course with some help from my parents, I was able to move to Veronaville with dreams of making a good life for myself by being self sufficient. It's just me and my cat Laci. She's a great companion & I know when I miss home I can look into her eyes & she'll be my home. My mom is a professional singer, and my father is a policeman. They currently live in Pleasantville, & they had no worries that I could make this big move away from them & they trust that I will have a bright future. I hope to never let them down.
Laci didn't take long to get used to the new place & things seem to be going really smooth thus far.
All this moving has really made me sleepy
I was too tired to go get something to eat so instead I made a tv dinner for lunch.
Obviously Laci must've felt hungry as well since she ate all her food.
A few minutes later I was welcomed to the neighborhood by some lovely people. I met Gilbert Jacquet, who seemed very friendly & kinda cute.
I also met Malcolm & I found him to be also nice, & maybe cuter than Mr. Gilbert. I'm not gonna make any moves though..I must be cautious.
I told Malcolm how crazy my move was & how I didn't think the house would be such a huge responsibility. He seemed attentive to what I was saying, so I knew that he wasn't just paying attention to my looks.
Shortly after he & Gilbert left I phoned the matchmaker..
I told her that I was looking for a man that would make my heart melt, my prince charming that would sweep me off my feet.
She had the casanova look for him alright, but we just didn't click at all.
You gain some & you lose some..I think I better invest my money elsewhere.
I decided it was time for a short stop at the market to get some real food because tv dinners will not be made often in my new house. I need some variety in my kitchen.
Meanwhile, Laci made herself comfortable in my bed..even though I know she knows she has her own comfy kitty bed. Sigh. She's so lovely though so sometimes I can't resist her.
