Heh, one of the reasons I stopped playing UO...the crappy people :P it used to be, geeks were the ones you could count on... they were the ones that weren't retarded, they had some creativity.... and now it's all retarded newbies or asshole geeks who think that they've been treated rough so they deserve to now get everything ever to make up for that :P
And yeeeaahh about music :P elitism sucks. I mean, it's one thing for someone to be making mass statements about a band without having listened to them once, or saying they're the most devoted fan ever when they've heard one song.... it's completely different to be like 'well you're only a REAL fan if you HAVE GONE INTO DEBT AND SMELLED THEIR DIRTY LAUNDRY FOUR TIMES EVERY FRIDAY" >_>;;;;;;;;;;
I had my time of taking online gaming too seriously. 8 years at Sojourn MUD was like an act of masochism - for almost all of the players, not just me. We all took it way too seriously. And then EverQuest. It also got pretty heavy there. Something about such games takes over and becomes your life; until you need to escape from your fantasy life back into your real one, and that is bad
