Apartment Life??? Whoa! Unfortunately, I said goodbye to the Sims 2 on my computer since it couldn't handle it anymore. I'm hoping to have a better computer by the time Sims 3 comes out

I'm really looking forward to that Apartment Life EP too. I'm always trying to create apartments and townhouses in the game. It's so rare that I've lived anywhere without wall neighbours. That will be a nice touch for the game.

I also refuse to play without the gay marriage hack. That's just not how we roll in Canada.

Haha, I'm just getting used to playing the game again. Six months without playing is no joke! I forgot a lot of things. I even forgot the boolprop cheat. D: The former mainstay of my life. Not one, but TWO expansion packs came out while I was gone. And the community on LJ got SO dramatastic. sim_secrets and sim_rants, oh my. It's like the world folded in on itself and turned sour. I wonder what will happen when Sims 3 comes out

Whaaaaaat? There's drama in the comm? Holy crap, I'm relatively active in there and still missed out. Jeeze.

Meh. Our drama is not so great. You actually have to squint to see the actual drama in those comms. Well, sometimes it's a little spicier, I guess, but nothing too crazy. Sim Storytellers is a big hand-holding party, if that's what you're looking for. ^_^

My advice for going "back in time" to take pics is to just use InSIM to age the characters back and put them in the proper clothing, etc. It's actually very easy once you play around with it (I use the objects version, and really... a child could work it). As long as you don't save anything at the end, you can do all sorts of crazy things for photos. I use it for flashbacks and things like that all the time. It helps me to feel less uptight about letting sims age and stuff (I have a hard time letting go *snicker*), since I know I can bring them back to previous ages if I need to. Same goes for resurrecting dead sims.

So, that said... I'm going to form a little line over here, where people who want to see your Strangetown stories updating again can cue up. :P *waits*
