Furaffinity problems.

Since the weekend Furaffinity has been a real pain in the ass to me. I can rarely get it to come up and when I do, it simply crashes a short while later. What gives? I cleared out my temporary files and such, but still having the same issues. I'm starting to get a bit ticked off as it won't stay stable long enough for me to even contact a site

According to the furaffinity forums, these outages and lags are affecting folks in Austrailia, Alaska, from the East to the West coast in USA, Europe, and so on. Wuff has personally encountered them on 2 different computers, used on 4 different ISPs, in Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas.

FA Admins say the site is running properly, but pings and tracerts show lags and drops between Ferrox Art, LLC FERROXARTserver and it's next "outboard" node. The single points in common between all these areas is the FA site itself and it's ISP.

So it's most likely not your personal computers, ISP, or other network or LAN interfaces.

Thanks for letting me know this. I was getting really flustered! I found the topic on the FA forums and it appears there is a lot of the issue going around. Also, I see it is linked to on the main FA page now. Right now I can only get in and do stuff through a proxy that members are linking to from the forums. It works great, but I hope I don't have to keep doing that!
