It seems Webshots is converting to a new format and I can no longer upload pictures to my albums and won't be able to again under the new system. They also won't have the new system up until sometime in December, so I have deleted all my folders there and am now on the look for another photo site I can use with this dial-up. Hit a little hiccup with things. First, I appear to have a wood or sheet metal screw stuck in my left rear tire that now needs repaired. Second, the front tires I had put on this spring haven't lasted worth a crap and I will need to search for replacements this week by the looks of things. Today I took the Stromberg-Carlson 12A up to my friend's place for something like the third time to figure this beast out. After a disappointing trip to the Hartville Flea Market, I decided on my way back home to stop in at a shop in Canton and check out an old TV set I had been informed about a few weeks back. Either Lycos mail keeps going down, or the new format is not working with my computer and connection. Either way, I might have to look for a new email service and redo my email links for here and some other sites. :(

I don't know how this actually happened, but I ended up going after a Majestic 71 console radio. I think this is the same type that you can see Laurel knock over and step into during the Laurel and Hardy short: The Music Box. A year or two ago I was given a 1962, 23 inch Zenith TV during a radio deal and it has basically been collecting dust since then. I dragged it out a week ago and decided to revive the old set once again and finally replace the few rather weak tubes it needed to operate better.
