.....Just to be the annoying voice of reason again.
Have you actually sat down and budgeted your income for rent, utilities, car payments, car insurance, humungo student loan payments and all that shit?
Cause half of that list can wait and then you'd have money for the important things. AND you'd have more money to spend on yourself because you're not pissing it away on interest and bounced check fees and cash advance fees.
Yes, I know you're whining at the top of your voice at me and rolling your eyes so hard they might fall out, but I can't, as a friend, sit by and say nothing.
haha no, it's ok - I appreciate your concerns... Actually, I found this amazing website a few weeks ago to do just that (http://www.kiplinger.com/tools/budget/) and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I'd have left over, even when I majorly underestimated my take-home pay... And I'll be ok relatively soon anyway when Jamie gets her loan money in later this month to pay me back... But thanks!! :0b
Oh, that thing's cool! I've just started an account with Share Builder and I'm attempting to find out how much I can afford to invest. X| Stocks confuse me. But my 401k seems to be making a lot of money, so I figure why not open an account where I can get at the money now instead of 35 years down the road.
