Crazy weekend

I have had quite the fun weekend so far -- NOT!  First, our sump pump failed on Thursday night. It began running nonstop and pumping nothing out. I called the installing company (won’t mention names) who wasn’t very happy about coming out to remove it. They asked us to do it and just drop it off at their shop in Redford . So I went ahead and

Yeah, I love his sense of humor. I should get a t-shirt made up with that on it :-)

The only good things about chaos happening this weekend are that he had the whole weekend off from work and I haven't started my new job yet, so we were able to deal with all of this together. Any other weekend would have been just awful with neither of us around. We'd have had a ruined basement for sure. I'm sure glad I knew about getting the small multi-purpose pump to deal with all the water, and that I was able to go get one so early in the day. Disaster averted!

Ugh, this was NOT the weekend for all to be happening to your house, but maybe it was all the rain overloading stuff?
