Pictures will be back: 02/19/09

Yes, I've started a new legacy. This one will be posted in more bite-sized nuggets than the Bishop Legacy, which I've gotten into the habit of doing in 100-cap updates. I could just cut down on the size of those updates... however, that would mean that I have to change my entire system and as sirensims can tell you that ( Read more... )

It's not like we don't do things to our Sims that should earn their eternal hatred, though, and you know it!

Y, definitely Y. *grin* Lesbians make everything better. *snuggles you*

YAY! *stalks new legacy*

I <3 Kira. Though it's always a little jarring to read the name and see a black-haired woman XD

Also, your graphics are so shinyyyyyyyyy *_*

Yay, stalkage! ^_^

You know what's funny? I didn't even think about that until I'd already named her, I actually mostly intended to steal the nickname of one of Wife's friends... I am a bad, bad fangirl.

Thanks! I was bored and work and started playing around with Photoshop, I'd never used it before and I was pretty impressed with the way the caps turned out with it.

Wooo, new legacy to read :) Kira is beautiful.

She looked mighty big for just one baby, it's a good thing she didn't surprise you!

And that's an awesome tradition. I know I plan to teach one of my future children tarot, if they have an affinity for it (since I do).

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

Most of the time, I like surprises, but that? That would not have been a fun surprise. At all.

I know in my family it was something with healing, and I've been told by a few people that I have a natural talent for that so it seems that abilities do breed true. =) Future children of yours most likely will be a little predisposed toward Tarot! What deck do you use, by the way?

I think some people just have a natural affinity that's been passed down from generation to generation. I consider us lucky to have been part of families where that is true.

I use the Tarot of Atlantis. Actually, there's an interesting story behind it. The deck used to belong to my friend Jared's mother, who died young. She was a Scorpio, and I am a Scorpio (as is Jared). He gave me the deck, and I'm very fond of it. It gives me motherly advice - it's like having his mother around. and every so often, his significator card pops up, as if she's asking about him. :]

That's an awesome story... it's great to have tools that have a history and associations like that.

I'm not hugely skilled with reading, I started off with the Hanson-Roberts Tarot, but ended up buying myself the Secret Tarot recently and it seems to fit who I am a little better. I have a friend who just bought the Dali Universal deck recently... super expensive, but he's really good so for him the purchase was worth it.

Thanks! I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with it... It's been brewing in the back of my mind since I found out that witches came with AL. Because I'm a dork like that.
