1970's cuisine - read and try?

Someone found a bunch of Weight Watchers recipe cards from 1974. The pictures are fascinating, like looking into another world... alien world... Maybe this is why the 70's are a memory wipe for me.

I've seen something similar to this before it's sooo strange. From what I gathered, Weight Watchers' idea was to make the food look soooo nasty that no one would want to touch it. Not even fatties.
