More Gamemaster's day fun.

If you ever played in any of the three larps I ran: RagePacific, RP2.0, or that one day of NERO, I will now lay all bare.

Ask me any questions you have about the games, the characters, the plot, ANYTHING, and I will answer.

Could the players have won the Apocalypse in RagePacific?

Yes. There were two major flaws in the PC's assault.

1) No one was willing to risk getting close enough for recon. While getting good intel would have probably meant death for one character, it could have prevented The Comet pack from succeeding.

2) Resources were not properly tapped. In what should have been the fight of the PC's lives, little more than "We get some guns." was done.

In RP2, was there an actual way of dealing with the specter eating spirits? I'm guessing yes, but that some of the players were sitting on critical information.

I'm not totally sure which specter eating spirits you mean.

It ate Finn's fish, it ate the pain bane tentacles, it was a long running problem that we never seemed to be able to touch because it was a ghost, and none of our powers worked on it. I think Kevin was heavily involved with it.

Okay, I remember. Yes, the information was out there. More communication was needed between the people attempting to work on the plot. Also, to be completely honest, I never understood some of Kevin's plots. They all made sense from start to finish, but Kevin understood the spiritual aspect of the game on a completely different level than I did.

Yeah, I remember organizing half the game, and spending months on that plot. I also remember looking over at a few players going, "I know you know shit, dammit, decant," but never getting their cooperation.

Sigh, one of many reasons I can do without some of the old SC players.

We would need Kevin to even guess what the hell to do on his plots. As a member of staff, I never knew what was going on with them, even when we attempted a cross=over.

Okay, a couple of questions. When I was Snowspear, did Matt's character taste as good as I thought he would when I ate him?

Second, when I was Dragonstar (The Get Theurge), what would have happened if I ate that damned heart?

No. He was a bit gamey.

and

What heart?

Uhm. The heart of that weird, invincible dude who kept popping out of nowhere and fucking with stuff. Archive had the heart, and I had almost convinced the rest of the GWs to hand it over to me for "inspection" before he got back and told them what a horrible idea that was.

You would have had to go get a cup of coffee, while I took control of your character and started f-ing things up.
