Some comics are genuinely funny (Doonesbury, Opus), but the overhwleming majority are one-dimensional talking heads who rephrase the same 10 jokes every fucking day. Furthermore, cartoonists are whores. Would you agree to have a poem of yours plastered on a million coffee mugs so that it might become commonplace and completely lose its meaning (not that most cartoons had any meaning to begin with)? Money's fun, but not worth losing all your integrity for.
