So I agree that technology has been great for us. It gave us television, computers and radio. It's taken mankind on brave new adventures and given us worlds within worlds to explore. Not to mention the importance technology has played in medical fields, plane travel and the business world. Yes its all been very great. But I must ask when and why

did u know why the microwave does the beeping thing? It does it in intervals of one minute usually - so u can time how long the microwaves keep cooking while the meal is standing.
So after a 3-min meal u usually have to wait for two lots of three beeps to know the "standing cooking time" is up and it's *really* ready.

sorry if u know that and i'm being boring - i only figured it out myself a couple of months ago!
