As a child I lived in Africa, and the contrast between the developed and the developing world is huge. By taking the example of hot water, I hope you bring it home to people!

I am just leaving India, so I found this really relevant! Part of how they do it is they have more kids and more community, so if they're sick, the sister or the daughter takes over the job. It still sucks, though, to have to boil water. I was in a village with no electric, though I was visiting, not sleeping, and baths happen in cold water, outside, in the daytime, dressed and taking one limb out of clothes at a time to wash it. Glad you pointed out the Water Project - it's a very worthy cause!
