I enjoyed reading your reflections on your children. They grow up so fast!

They really do. I still remember so vividly being pregnant with my son..almost 12 years ago!

Do you have children?:)

Yes, it *is* moving to find out that what you've built matters to them, huh? The parent's ambivalence is a good topic to explore.

There is so much more ambivalance in parenthood than I expected. You have to make the best decisions you can and then just..hope they are ok. So many people get good results with many different types of actions that it's a lot of guess work it seems (sometimes) to make the right choices.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!

This is a really beautiful and heartfelt entry. You really make us feel what you're going through, Maria. I think that given the guidance you've given and everything you're teaching them, they are going to turn out to be awesome people. *HUGS*

I sure hope so. Thanks for the hugs. You have no idea how much I needed that after my last week.

And whether they are awesome or not, I will love them always and forever.

You have learned the most important lesson, to make them strong enough to walk alone. I love your little one's observation about the dolphin, how beautiful was that? Great piece.
