Right now my dreams are to be self-sufficient, which at 27 I feel like I should already have started on. :/

Very nice post.

I know the feeling. I'm almost 34 and in college. I've been a "stay-at-home mom" before going back to school and I really want to graduate and get a job so I can be paying my own way.

It's a hard economy. Good luck! You will get there..probably sooner than me!

Maybe Bebe and Sophie are on FB?

It's good to keep having dreams. Dreams are goals. It's OK if they change. AW

I can't remember Bebe's last name. She was a poor stepdaughter.

It's an idea on Sophie though. Do you think she would even remember me though?

I'd love to know how their lives turned out!

And yes, the older I get, the more I know, dreams keep changing. When I was young, I "beat myself up" that I kept changing my mind but now I realize..that's life!

I had a music box that had Blueberry Muffin sitting on top of it. The song that played was always kind of bittersweet though.

Aw. I had a ballerina music box for awhile that played, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow..."

I love your LJ user name. How did you come up with it? It's lovely!

The story behind my user name is actually kind of long. My first LJ account, my user name was white rose. Then there was this huge drama explosion where I was actually getting harassed, so I canceled white rose. Fading_light was sort of supposed to represent a loss of innocence.

I'll be 35 when I finally get mine (it's taking awhile. I half want my MA but I better work for awhile first. It's scary though, sometimes.

What is your Master's going to be in? It's always encouraging to hear of other students around my age!
