I admire you. I feel I "ought" to love him as a future English teacher. I'm not sure I'm in love but I definitely am building an appreciation for Shakespeare that I did not have before this class. Finally!

This was a fabulous story. Great teachers are just that, great. I loved the way you described your professor, his love for life and joy at living leapt off the page.

One critique, you spelled betrayal as betrayl throughout your piece.

I hope this helps, and great job!

Man, thanks for letting me know. Sorry, I didn't spell check. I'm having a really busy week.

I'm glad you could imagine Doc Elmore. He is truly an amazing teacher. I'm just happy I have the opportunity to learn from him!

I mean, when I started writing it, I hadn't thought of ending it that way. But sometimes ideas come along as I go.

I guess love makes fools of us all.

This was a fantastic entry as usual. Grins.

I haven't studied much shakespeare except for Romio and Julliett and I remember that being boring as hell. I'm glad you have developed a fondness for it. I wish I could find enjoyment in old writings like that.

Thanks for your kind words:)

I'm not sure I could understand Shakespeare on my own but the way Doc Elmore takes it step by step, it finally seems less random and makes more sense for me.

I do still enjoy more modern fiction and memoirs especially these days:)
