It sucks so much that this is some people's experience of religion and at such a young, impressionable age too! My parents never pushed it on me, which I'm grateful for. I just sort of figured it out by myself.

I was raised strictly and I am trying to raise my children very differently but I often wonder how it might turn out. For instance, will they feel lost? Overwhelmed trying to decide things for themselves? You sound relaxed about it.

If you feel comfortable sharing, I am curious whatever feedback you might have.
