Last time Rosie (our founder oftimes Cambia Hardbottle) attained her lifetime wish with a perfect garden, which ended up saving her from death of old age in the form of a death flower in her inventory. Sven (katu_sims), her husband, attempted to spread his seed aroundabout town but only managed to impregnate one young lady, my self!sims daughter Delores. ( Read more... )

I cannot tell you how much I love these posts. I have Sims3 and have never achieved anything close to this level of awesomeness. I think it's because I don't understand how to let go of the control aspect - like, if you have only one household with only a couple or three people, then you can kind of keep an eye on everything. But if you have more than one household or more than three people, you can't control them all, and when they're left alone they start doing terrible things like peeing on the floor and staying awake until they drop from exhaustion while they're cooking dinner, and then the house catches fire. How does one get around these issues?

I love the picture where your game unceremoniously ripped into another dimension. Rad.

Woo! Thank you! I used to be very micro-managey (see minkstole legacy where every child maxed all 7 skills before starting high school for generations) until I played the I'm Surrounded by Idiots challenge. Basically, every generation I was only allowed to control one character. This ended in doom when my controllable character starved to death but it taught me how to lighten up a little bit and tab between characters in a more leisurely fashion.

Both of your VDSLs have so many sims, it's almost hard to keep up. Almost.

I do believe she is eating lettuce. Of the romaine variety, from the looks of it. I only know this because of work and it's kind of useless knowledge, but there you have it.

I like Drusilla's nose.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm trying to really mention names a lot, in context to keep the confusion down, especially when the 6 adopted siblings come around. I'm glad that it's only almost hard to keep up!

I think it is romaine! It's funny because it looks like iceberg when they plant it. hahah!

Thank you ever so much. :)

Yes! We can absolutely trade characters! I will link you to a tutorial, huzzah: http://simnels.livejournal.com/24085.html It's a big part of this challenge I'm playing right now, actually, with sims shared in the pixel_trade community as spouses. :D

That's so sweet that Sven is there for his grandchild and his widow ... aww.

I can see a family resemblance in Drusilla.

Enjoyed this :D

I have a newfound appreciation for the way sims 3 ghosts work. It's exciting to follow him around and see what he does. Of course, I had Rosie initiate the woohoo, but he came up and flirted with her on his own before and afterward.

Drusilla is a great mix of the family genes. Technically Ophelia reveals herself to be an even better mix, but I have a soft spot for Drusilla. :)

Thank you!
