Last time on the Bracegirdle show, August, our heir, and his young wife Susie (cpowellscircus) had three children, Quentin, who is a teenager, Drusilla, a child, and a toddler, Ophelia, the ghost of Sven (katu_sims) visited his family, enjoying the company of his youngest grandchild and his widow, Rosie. Some moochers joined the household, Leif and Brice, but Leif died ( Read more... )

I love how the meteor makes everyone naked! It's sexually-motivated meteor.

I really want to install Sims 3 now. I never re-installed it after this most recent system flattening because it seems I always get caught up in housebuilding and never actually play, aside from maybe one family that I get all control-freaky about.

I'm going to be asking you all sorts of questions. First off, do you make all your families first, or do you just start with one family and add new ones in as you go? Do you build houses, or buy existing ones? Do you deal with the money you're given, or do you Motherlode yourself enough money so you don't have to worry about it?

Woo questions! I made a save in sims 3 where I deleted all of the families from the houses and made a bunch of interesting looking sims I didn't plan on playing and moved them in to some of the premade houses and then let the game spawn some more townies (which it will do naturally). I keep that save like that so I can start a new family in it and "save as" instead of "save" over and then I only play one family per save/neighborhood because they do annoying things sometimes when you switch houses on a single save. I usually build houses, start from scratch, no motherlode, and build on with something specific in mind as I can afford it. In this legacy I decided, because I have a time constraint (5 sim generations in 10 real life weeks is the idea) to enjoy some of the premade houses and appreciate what the game came with ( ... )

=O!! METEOR~!! that was exciting, I didn't know things like that could happen in the game!

I liked all of Brice's novel titles ... very snarky ^.^ (And death's comment about the fire was funny too!)

I think Ophelia will be an interesting Bracegirdle to have around, already her death glares are scary!! That perceptive quality is interesting, what kind of interactions/characteristics does that give her?

This was my first time seeing the meteor and I hadn't heard it was possible. I think it came with the newest expansion, but I'm not sure. I also wonder if it's a possible cause of death... I was a little worried about Quentin when I got the popup that it was happening!

Thanks so much!

Perceptive makes sims better at the Investigator profession. I know they're more likely to have successful stakeouts. I hope to get her into that profession, I'm really hoping it's her lifetime wish. :D
