sims medieval <3!

I got The Sims Medieval almost as soon as it came out. I love it. The quests are delightful, it's funny and fun and beautiful. If I could have the skins and base sliders from Medieval in Sims 3 I would probably swoon. So. There's that and here is a teensy bit of picspam. I don't take many pictures, you can't tab the UI away, but the in-game camera ( Read more... )

Ignore the person in the executioner's mask taking a bath.

How often in your life to you get the opportunity to say that? Awesome.

Man, I just got my tax refund and this is a tempting "Happy Birthday to Myself" present. My desktop computer is SOL for a long time, and I just bought a pretty sweet laptop. I haven't Simmed* in nearly two years, I think, and I miss it. (Farmville just isn't the same, LOL.) I have the vanilla Sims 3 on it and it runs great, and I've been hunting up all my Sims 2 and Sims 1 games and ep's (this is a heck of a task! I wasn't that organized when I put them in various boxes.)

I'm sad that I think I lost a bunch of great Sims 2 houses I downloaded from someone called Sim Goddess Byline from Sweden. I've been googling but haven't come up with them.

*This sounds like a Catholic confession: "Bless me Father, for I have Simmed."

I really recommend it, though it's a lot more like a game than other sims games, and I think some people who are into the sims don't like that about it? It's quest driven and not open ended. Children never grow up (like sims 1! babies and then children in a day or so! but you don't have to take care of them AT ALL past babyhood).

I try not to think about lost custom content over the years! I just try to find something new to fill the void. <3

I am so happy to see a post here from you! You make the Sims Medival look good.

I also added your personal LJ, in your absence, hopefully you don't mind. If you do, let me know! I just enjoy when you update on tumblr and the like.

Yeah! I've been playing all sims games a lot, but haven't been taking pictures because I have SO many other projects going right now (bits of which you will have seen on my tumblr!) and I already spend so many hours a day at the computer because of them. I wanted to just snap a few and put them here because I know their aren't a lot of people sharing Sims Medieval pictures. :) Hopefully this summer when I finish my self portrait project I will get to climb back inside a sims legacy or something. I've been thinking about the ones I'm in the middle of a lot. I miss my simmies.

& I haven't been getting notifications correctly at all, but I just added you back on my personal lj! I don't write there very often anymore, but I've got the client open with a big photo dump in progress right now. :)

& I saw you added me on last.fm, too! You have excellent taste in music, yay!
