my band is playing a show at the mandarin club on june 16 and ive been given the annoying task of selling pre-sale tickets so... if you want one get in touch with me. theyre ten bucks. also playing are my good friends, the mission in motion and probably a hair twirling metal band and some dude with a saxaphone

what is your band like? you must be pretty rad if you play melodica.

I'm interested in your band... but not hair metal, or saxaphone. I hate saxaphone. which is a shame, because I like X-Ray Spex, and they always have really annoying saxaphone solos.

ps. are you interested in vegan food day? we're going to make food, take photos, eat it at a picnic, then make a zine about the day.

my band is like ummm maybe like crossing dance punk and hardcore. i dunno how to describe us. were noisy and dancey.
theres nothing wrong with hair metal, as long as youre drunk and can laugh at it and x-ray spex sax solos are great. theyre so out of tune and bad that theyre incredible.
where and whens the vegan food day?

I suppose the sax does complement poly styrene's vocals... i'm still not convinced though.

hair metal is annoying and very phallocentric. but yes, it is laughable. in the sense that phallocentrism is pretty funny.

vegan food day is probably going to be at my friend's place in Sutherland. not sure on the date yet. we're thinking after we make the food that we can catch a ferry to bundeena for a beach picnic. I know it's kind of far for you to travel, but it will be super fun. you can bring belle or any vegan-friendly people.
