There's been one too many unexpected waves in the past few weeks. Such that when the comm chimes at him, Simon's first reaction is something along the lines of oh god, what now.

The text is short, and unsigned.

Look in your left shoe.

...what?

If he does look in his left shoe, he'll find a tiny scrap of paper that says Now look under your pillow.

Chances are that he will find the handwriting a little familiar.

It is familiar, at that.

So is the one under his pillow, which says Passenger lounge, armchair.

On the left arm is another folded note: Now the engine room, to the right of the door, around your knees.

By this time he's starting to laugh.

To the right of the door to the engine room is a slightly larger envelope folded out of the same paper. Containing what looks very much like a Milliways room key.

On the back of the makeshift envelope is scrawled a room number.
