hey! *hugs* I totally love my ipod. When I first got one, I was like a walking ipod commercial, dancing down the street in my Hasidic neighborhood in NY... they probably thought I was crazy, but then, they probably thought that anyway, just because I wore sleeveless shirts.
Ach, that bit about not having anything to say... yikes. So how it is. I hate when it feels like you're just going through the motions. That just sucks. Try to remember that you're really awesome on the inside, eh?
I'm still thinking about my trip to Portland: will keep you posted!
Woo hoo. I hope you can come visit-- I could use to see some friends right now.
It's funny because I have some Eros Ramozotti on my Ipod and whenever I hear an Eros song I think of you. :) There's this great bilingual version of "Cose della vita" with Tina Turner that is really good.
Ah, but those songs seem like from another existence. A lifetime ago. I feel so old. I wish I could go back to being younger and at least marginally ambitious.
I AM really awesome on the inside, but I just feel like I might as well not be, since it is nothing more than a source of isolation.
awww... *pets* I hope I can come, too. My sister and my cousin are being flakes about getting back to me. And I'm trying to work my tutoring schedule out. It's gonna happen! I'll figure it out!
Yay for Eros! I don't even have any Eros... I should download some. The only ones I had were those tapes you made me, and I stopped using tapes some time ago. I don't even have a tape player anymore. I feel old, too. I had records when I was a kid, damn it...!
BTW, you = multilingual fusion re: "I could use to see some friends right now." Way to use utor plus the complimentary infinitive, there. Works in most of the languages we know, except English, of course. ^_~

So, how do you use that expression in English? Does it only take nominal complements, or do I have to use a gerund?
Thanks for the utor, tutor.
