Heh, when I saw your title and the first sentence "So that was nice", it made me think of Patrick Nice from The Fast Show. I can imagine him saying something like:

"So I finally got to meet Joss. I gave him my screenplay, and we sat and talked the whole night about Buffy and Firefly and Shakespeare and his favorite comics and the meaning of life. Then he introduced me to Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson and I went with them to a party the next night. Then the next day Joss called me and told me he loved my script and he wants me to be one of the head writers for his new S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show.
