Yes I think black cars get dirtier than white cars ....ahving had both colours that is a true fact

Same here. White shows up mud, but black shows the salt as well!

I find it really annoying when you tell someone about a new purchase, upcoming trip, winning money etc and they they respond with a negative comment.

How about "great car, good luck with it, might be washing it a lot."

We've had both black and white cars and the white one definitely showed the dirt more.

Actually, it's pure envy. The most common comment was "Wish I could afford one!" To which my reply was always "So do I!"
