Well, the way Connie makes it, it's basically a chicken and vegetable stew, made with fresh veg, fresh chicken (Connie used leg portions), garlic and (as we are now growing our own) fresh herbs. Connie then makes a basic pastry from flour, water/milk and shortening. She also added fresh parsley to it this time
