A random line in a TV show prompted a random thought:

I can never understand people who "have trouble finding themselves". I never have any trouble finding myself. I just look down, and there I am!

My thought exactly.
Whenever someone - usually a young person - tells me they are going overseas to "find" themselves, I just can't resist replying that I'm so glad I don't need to do that. I'm right here!

Have you considered the possibility that you are your belly?

After all, remember that "you are what you eat!"

Sounds to me like you're failing to "see the wood, for the trees".
