To echo Chas's usually prescient comments, I feel stiffled at work. Sure, I find it interesting, but I often feel like I'm losing a lot by being there all day. I want some down time where I can sit and think. I have lots of books I want to read, lots of music I want to experience and lots of friends I want to see. I feel the same way...except I don't even find my work interesting. I'm like, what the hell am I doing here? My summer and my life is whithering away before my eyes...plus I don't get to wear my denim which makes me very upset. I never realized how much I like my jeans. But if you enjoy what you are doing, why wouldn't you want to do it now and in your middle-agedness? It's better than doing something now (or later) that you don't like, just to be different, isn't it?

speaking of work... i leave in a few weeks. any advice simon? have an urge to see the quad-attack one last time? (a manly way to suggest we hang out sometime)
