Aww, what a sad story! I think it is so sad because you know it does happen and could easily happen in the situation that the Broke's are in :( That last picture of Dustin just grabs you and you can feel the agony he is experiencing. :(

...makes a lot more of his story fit too - Dustin working in the crime career probably to try and help his brother out, being the 'bad' boy probably because he is getting to sleep at horrid hours. Lots of room for you to turn this into a full story, definitely! I'd love to see it :)

Nicely done. The photos were very poignant, especially the one where Beau is wailing next to the wine bottles and Dustin is in the foreground.
If you do decide to make this a full story I'll definitely be reading :)

It's not an usual take on Brandi, but I totally see it. I've imagined sometimes that she could, in fact, be a drunk behind close doors, but because she's pregnant I end up feeling very guilty just for entertaining the idea! lol

It's very nice to see this take played out in such a compelling short. :)

This was awesome! I love how you went outside the box with your characterization of Brandi; so seldom do I see has anything but a single mother hero.

The text is just so fitting and the end has a real emotional impact. I really hope you have the time to continue :D
